We worry about what will happen to those we love if we were to die first. There are messages and instructions, farewells we want to share; there are inventories and insurance policies that need to be passed on.
psAfterlife allows you to prepare postscripts that will be delivered to your loved ones when your life is over.
My first postscript was difficult to write. I felt as though I needed to write something everlasting, something perfect . . . but it didn't come out that way. It ended up simply being me, uncensored and raw, exposing my real self . . . writing a postscript is truly an act of love. |
My Love:
I am writing this PS hoping that you never have to read it. My love for you is infinite and I hope that I will be able to take care of you and make you happy till the last day of your life. But if for some reason it isn't so, there are some things I need you to know:
You are the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. You filled my life with joy and I have loved you in a way I never even knew it was possible to love.
I want you to be as happy as life will allow. Please, don't carry any sense of guilt that you could have done better. Don't feel bound to our history, just live. Feel the freedom to have a new partner, allow yourself to love and be loved again, because it was always your happiness that has given me the most joy.
Because I know that you will take great care of our children I have no special requests or instructions in that regard. I have absolute confidence in your judgment, dedication, and love.
I am writing this PS in a bit of a rush and I hope I have time to improve on it but I had to be sure that at least these simple thoughts are left with you.
I love you, I have always loved you, and I will always be with you in whatever way I can be.
Your husband, your friend, your partner in adventures.
